Your phone, or a camera we ship
A recent phone (iPhone 12, Pixel 6, Galaxy S21 or newer) with a simple head or chest mount is enough. For some projects we send a camera and mount, free, and you send it back after.
$6 to $15+ an hour
Simple household tasks sit at the low end; skilled, specialist or equipment-heavy tasks pay more, and some projects go above $15. The rate is in the brief before you accept, and you are paid for every approved hour.

Plain rules about your video.
You always know what a project is for before you record. Faces are optional on most projects and you can tell us up front if you would rather stay out of frame. Footage is licensed to the lab for training their models, not posted anywhere public. You can withdraw your profile any time by emailing us, and we delete it.
Is this a job or freelance?
Freelance. You are an independent contractor, you choose which projects to accept, and you are paid per approved hour of footage. Recruitmint handles the lab, the brief, the review and your payout.
How much can I earn?
$6 to $15 an hour depending on the task, and some specialist projects pay more than that. Everyday household tasks are at the low end; skilled trades, specialist equipment, driving and multi-hour projects pay more. Each brief shows its rate before you accept.
Who are the labs?
We contract with the largest AI and robotics labs in the world. Most projects are under NDA, so we name the client in the brief, not on this page.
Where do I need to live?
Anywhere we can pay you. Most projects are open worldwide; some need a specific country or language, which is why we ask.
Do I need experience?
No. You need to be good at the everyday things you already do, and careful with the camera. We give you a short guide and a checklist with every brief.
What counts as an approved hour?
Footage that follows the brief: the task is real, the camera is steady and well lit, the whole task is visible, and there is no idle time padding it out. We tell you exactly what was accepted and why.
How am I paid?
Bank transfer, Wise, Payoneer or PayPal, on the schedule stated in the brief, once a project's footage is approved.
